Join hosts and authors Lindsay Cameron Wilson and Christine Flynn for an unforgettable culinary writing retreat in the idyllic village of Chester, nestled on Nova Scotia’s Southern Shore. This retreat includes two nights of stunning accommodation, thoughtful details, and all meals cooked onsite featuring the best Nova Scotia has to offer.
Using thoughtful prompts, shared memories, and drawing on lived experiences, we’ll explore writing through the lens of food, in a shared space that feels both collaborative and compelling. Make new friends, recharge as you need, and sit quietly with your own thoughts in a gorgeous setting.
Arrive Friday afternoon for drinks on the dock and introductions, followed by a candlelit welcome dinner. "The Meck" is a picturesque 3 minute walk from our other main venue, The White Cottage on Duke Street. Your ticket is a 50% deposit for the retreat.
