About the event
Join hosts Amy Funk and Christine Flynn for an oil painting immersive for all levels.
Arrive Thursday night for drinks, conversation and sketching, followed by a cozy dinner at our main venue The White Cottage in Chester, Nova Scotia. We'll start bright and early on Friday morning with a casual breakfast together, followed by a full day of instruction, practice and painting with Amy, with breaks for meals and movement. Enjoy free time after dinner or take a walk to Nova Scotia's oldest pub. Saturday, join in an optional early morning village walk with Christine, followed by another day of instruction with Amy. Sunday, we will have a final meal and showcase our work.
This Immersive Workshop Includes
3 night's accommodation in Chester, Nova Scotia (unless you book the separate accommodation rate)
3 full meals per day, with one meal provided on arrival and departure days

King Room - Ensuite Bath
The total price of the King Room is $1800 plus HST. This fee is your deposit and will reserve your spot for the Chester Still Life Painting Immersive Retreat on November 12th - 15th, 2026. You will be invoiced the remainder ($900 + HST) four weeks before the retreat, and it is due October 15th, 2026.

The total price of the Queen Room with private bath is $1600 plus HST. This fee is your deposit and will reserve your spot for the Chester Still Life Painting Immersive Retreat on November 12th - 15th, 2026. You will be invoiced the remainder ($800 + HST) four weeks before the retreat, and it is due October 15th, 2026.

Single Room - Private Bath
The total price of the Single Room is $1200 plus HST. There is no ensuite, but there is a private bathroom just outside the door. Your ticket is a 50% deposit for the retreat. You will be invoiced the remainder ($600 + HST) four weeks before the retreat, and it is due October 15th, 2026.

Queen Room - The Mecklenburg
The total price of the Private Room with a Queen-sized bed and private bath at The Mecklenburgh Inn is $1400. "The Meck" is a picturesque 3 minute walk from our other main venue, The White Cottage on Duke Street. Your ticket is a 50% deposit for the retreat. The remaining balance ($700 + HST) will be invoiced to you on October 15th, 2026.

The perfect option for locals! This pricing includes all retreat meals and workshops, but you get to sleep in your own bed. The total price is $1000 plus HST. Your ticket is a 50% deposit for the retreat. You will be invoiced the remainder ($500 + HST) four weeks before the retreat, and it is due October 15th, 2026.
